I know, they want to sell the new version. This is their business model. Also, there has to be a differentiation between the new talking device and the old one still for sale. But, in my opinion, the vast majority of Shuffle owners (excluding the geeks and early adopters) would probably not upgrade their device until they lose it or when it breaks. Come on, the current model is already damn small...
